1. General Services

Jerome Driving School provides professional driver education, including in-car instruction, the 5-hour Pre-Licensing course, and road test coordination. All students must possess a valid New York State Learner’s Permit before beginning any in-car instruction.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

To respect the time of our instructors and other students, we maintain a strict cancellation policy:

  • 24-Hour Notice: All cancellations or requests to reschedule a lesson must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Late Cancellations: Failure to provide 24-hour notice will result in a forfeiture of the lesson fee or a late cancellation charge.

3. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are subject to a processing fee.
  • No refunds will be issued for services already rendered (e.g., completed lessons or classes).
  • Package deals are non-transferable.

4. Student Responsibilities

  • Documentation: Students must bring their original Learner’s Permit to every lesson. Digital copies or photos are not accepted by the DMV for road tests.
  • Conduct: We reserve the right to terminate a lesson immediately if a student is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or behaves in a manner that compromises safety.

5. Road Test Services

While Jerome Driving School provides the tools and training necessary to pass the DMV Road Test, we do not guarantee that a student will pass. The final decision rests solely with the DMV examiner. If you are using a school vehicle for your test, you must have completed a minimum number of lessons as determined by your instructor to ensure safety.

6. Limitation of Liability

Jerome Driving School and its instructors are not liable for any delays caused by the DMV, traffic conditions, or mechanical failures beyond our reasonable control.
